Hi there 👋

In order to use the API, you need to generate a unique API key pair, using the following tutorial.

Step 1: Login to your Binance account.

Step 2: Once logged into your account. Click on your profile, then "API Management".

Step 3: Choose a name to identify your API like "WaltioKey" for example then click on "API created".

Step 4: Follow the safety checks.

Step 5: Your brand new API for Waltio is waiting for you.

Click on "Change restrictions".

Step 6: Make sure the "Allow Reading" and "IP Unlimited" boxes are checked and uncheck the "Enable Spot and Margin Trading" box. Waltio needs to read only.

💡 Waltio only requires read permissions.

💡 We use a "myriad" of IPs to get around the constraints of Binance.

If we only made calls from a few IPs, we would take hours to synchronize. By using "rotating" IPs, we can offer Binance synchronizations that are done in minutes. So you need to select the "Unlimited" IP restriction.

Step 7: Return to Waltio and enter your API key.

💡 Synchronization may take a few minutes to a few hours. While waiting for us to retrieve your Binance deposit and withdrawal transaction histories, you can deposit files from other accounts or connect other APIs.

💡 It is possible to add multiple Binance APIs on Waltio.


💡 Binance has created a "tax API", we still advise you to use the "normal API".

🚨 To make sure that all of your transactions made on Binance are present, please read each of the ten pieces of information below carefully 🚨

1️⃣ If you created your Binance API before using Futures, you will need to recreate an API by checking the "Enable Futures" box.

⚠️ "Funding fees" and "Commission rebates" are not recovered by API for futures.

⚠️ Some staking rewards, rewards earn are only partially given by API (like POS savings interest).

2️⃣ If you have traded via Liquidity Swap, please follow this article.


3️⃣ If you have been trading via Binance Margin, please follow this article.

4️⃣ If you want to download "Commission History" and "Commission Rebates" or "Commission Fees Shared With You", please follow this article.

5️⃣ If you have used the Binance Card, please follow this article.

6️⃣ ETH and BETH deposits and withdrawals related to ETH 2.0 staking, Lauchpad participations, "The easiest way to trade" Transactions, Rewards related to "POS savings interest" are not taken into account by API.

7️⃣ "Spot Small assets exchange" are not correctly retrieved via API, in fact, the API limits the retrieval to the last 100.

8️⃣ The following transactions are not supported by Waltio: Loans and Borrowing, Mining, Vanilla Options, COIN-M Futures.

9️⃣ If you have performed Peer to Peer (P2P) transactions. You need to ask Binance support for an export of your P2P history and then add these transactions via a Waltio's Format.

🔟 If you have made purchases and sales via Cash Balance, you need to download a specific file named: Export Sales History.xlsx. and Export Purchase History.xlsx.



If you have made any of these transactions, you can find them in your Complete Statement, and must add them via a file in Waltio's format.

That's it, all your transactions should be on Waltio 🎉

⚠️ If you add files containing trades read by API, then the relevant trades will be duplicated on Waltio. Our API gives you the choice if you already have Binance API files in your Waltio account.

It will ask you to choose between two options:


1 - The recovery of all data since the creation of your Binance API account.


2 - The recovery of all of your data since the date of your last transaction on your Waltio account.

⚠️ If you delete your keys or change the permissions, it will complicate the analysis.

1 - If you have already deleted your keys then we will not be able to synchronize

automatically. You will have to create a new one.

2 - If you have already modified your keys then we put in "disabled" mode the APIs encountering errors.

3 - If you correct afterwards, you will have to contact the support service via the chatbot at the bottom right of your screen because we perform weekly synchronizations.

4 - The deletion of the keys automatically leads to the loss of all the modifications (recording of labels, prices, etc...) made on the transactions recovered via API.
