What is this document?
The stock sheet is a document that lists your transactions grouped in each crypto. It is not a regulatory document, as it is created from scratch by Waltio based on the transactions in your account.
This document is not to be attached to your tax return. It simply allows you to track all your movements and traces the history of all entries and exits for each of your cryptocurrencies.
How to read this document?
1️⃣ The home page :
This page displays on each line, the name, type (cryptocurrency or state currency) and balance of that crypto as of 12/31/2022.
Clicking on the name of a crypto will display the detail of that crypto 👇
2️⃣ Crypto detail :
Column A: The date of the transaction
Column B: The platform on which the transaction is made
Column C: The type of the transaction (Deposit, withdrawal, or exchange)
Column D: The label added to the transaction, if any.
Column E: The label of the transaction. Example for an exchange:
70 USDT to 1 AAVE on Binance
Column F: The amount and the token entered, if it is a deposit or an exchange in which we receive the crypto concerned.
Column G: The amount and the token taken out, if it is a withdrawal or an exchange in which one withdraws the concerned crypto.
Column H: The amount and token of the fee, if any.
Column I: The price of the transaction in euros.
Column J: The balance of the crypto on the platform after the transaction.
Column K: The balance of the crypto after the transaction, across all platforms.
Column L: The value of the total stock of this crypto in euros.
In other words, Column I x Column K = Column L.
🪧 Some important information :
1️⃣ Within the balance column of the stock record, we do subtract the costs of a withdrawal, but we do not display these within the stock record because if we wanted to do so, two problems would arise:
The case where multiple fees are defined on the transaction;
The case where fees are paid in another token (example an ETH ↔ BTC exchange with fees in BNB, the token column will be empty in the ETH and BTC page, and you would have a BNB page with many rows)
So we decide to display the fees when they are paid in one of the currencies involved in the transaction.
2️⃣ The boxes highlighted in red correspond to your warnings. You can correct them by following this article.
