Hi there πŸ‘‹

This tutorial shows you how to recover your transactions on the Polygon blockchain.

Step 1 : Retrieve the public address of your Polygon wallet

- Go to the used Polygon wallet

- Copy your wallet address (public key)

Step 2 : On Waltio

- Go to β€œWallets”

- Click on Polygon

- Paste the address of the wallet indicated above

⚠️ Some bridge transactions of this type cannot be taken into account automatically by Waltio and must be added manually via a file in Waltio's format. If you have insufficient balances, it is important to check on PolygonScan if you have made bridge transactions.

πŸ’‘ The holding of cold storage wallets (type Ledger, Trezor, Metamask etc...) does not need to be declared. Only accounts held abroad (exchange platforms such as Coinbase, Kraken etc...) must be declared. declared using the form 3916-BIS.

⚠️ Some transactions may not be taken into account because tools reading the blockchain like Covalent are not able to read these transactions πŸ˜•

For example, Paraswap trades can be misread on Polygon

⚠️ If you have imported transactions from a public key on Waltio and a file from Ledger Live, there is a good chance that certain operations are present in both transaction histories! This will therefore create duplicates (easily identifiable by looking at your stock card) that you will have to manually delete so that your capital gains calculation is correct.
