Taking into account bridges

Updated over a week ago

Hi there 👋

If you have already made transactions on a bridge, some transactions may not appear on Waltio because we can't retrieve send and withdraw transactions at 0x0000 addresses.

💡 Negative balances on ANY (bridge Multichain) tokens of types ANYUSDC / ANYUSDT are due to a timestamp problem. You have to shift one second after withdrawal.

Before

After

Here's a guide to help you find them on the Blockchain Explorer you use.

Step 1: Retrieve your public key from the Blockchain in question.

We will take the example of Polygon, it works exactly the same for other blockchains.

Step 2: Go to the explorer of the chosen blockchain :

For your information, we have noticed that most of our clients bridge Matic, USDT, USDC, ETH.

Arbitrum

Then paste your address in the search bar.

Step 3: On your stock sheet, look for the first occurrence of Negative Balance.

💡 Using the date to identify the transaction can be very handy

If the negative balance is linked to the native token (Matic for Polygon) of the blockchain, then you will find the transaction in "Internal Txns"

Otherwise, you will find it in ERC-20 token

Step 4: Search for a transaction matching the date and amount.

(This will often be an "IN" in green, as in the screenshot below) 'IN' corresponds to a deposit

Step 5: If you found the missing transaction, then I invite you to create a transaction manually of the same amount. 😊
