One address used for several blockchains

Updated over a week ago

Hi there 👋

Once an address has been added, if it has been used for multiple channels, then we automatically suggest that you supplement with the other channels that match that same address.

This tutorial shows you how to get your transaction history on different blockchains linked to the same address in one go.

💡 This also works with name services. To learn more, please read this article.

Step 1: Retrieve the public key from the portfolio
- Go to the portfolio used

- Copy the address of your wallet (public key)

Step 2: On Waltio:

- Go to "Blockchains"

- Click on one of the blockchains you use (in the example Ethereum),

- Paste the address of the portfolio entered above

Step 3: On Waltio, once your key is connected :

- Click on the blockchains you use and want to add.

- Click on "Associate my account" and all selected blockchains and transactions will be automatically added.

💡 The holding of non-custodial wallets (type Ledger, Trezor, Metamask etc...) does not need to be declared. Only accounts held abroad (exchange platforms such as Coinbase, Kraken, etc...) must be declared using the 3916-BIS form.

⚠️ If you have imported transactions from a public key on Waltio and a file from Ledger Live, there is a good chance that certain operations are present in both transaction histories! This will therefore create duplicates (easily identifiable by looking at your stock card) that you will have to manually delete so that your capital gains calculation is correct.

To Delete a transaction manually - in Step 2. My Transactions (at the top of your screen) click on the transactions in question and click on the trash can.

If you have any other questions, do not hesitate to contact us via the chat just at the bottom right of your screen! 💬
