Hi there πŸ‘‹

We advise you to use the AscendEx files rather than the API, which gives the transactions only partially.

Indeed, the AscendEx API only gives trades made over the last 365 days before your first API addition.

Ex: If you add your AscendEx API to Waltio on April 30, 2022, we will only be able to retrieve trades up to April 30, 2021. If you have carried out trades before this date, you will therefore have to add them with an AscendEx file.

Step 1: Log in to AscendEX.

Step 2: Swipe the page to the left, click the profile icon, then click "API Setting".

Step 3: You are on this page. Click New API Key in the upper right corner of the page.

Step 4: Configure and create the API key.

  • Create a name for the new API key, for example WaltioKey.

  • Configure API permissions to "View".

  • Do not put an IP restriction because we use several different IPs for our API calls.

  • Complete three-step verification by entering your phone, email address, and Google Authenticator verification code.

  • Click on "Generate API Key" to complete the process.

⚠️ Be sure to copy the secret key, this is the only time you can view it.

Step 5: Return to Waltio and enter your API key.

  1. If you have already deleted your keys, then we will not be able to sync automatically. So you will need to create a new one.

  2. If you have already modified your keys, then we put in disabled mode the APIs encountering errors.

  3. If you correct it later, you will need to contact the support service via the chatbot at the bottom right of your screen because we perform weekly synchronizations.

  4. Deleting the keys automatically results in the loss of all the modifications (registration of labels, prices, etc.) carried out on the transactions retrieved via API.

If you have any other questions, do not hesitate to contact us via the Chatbot just at the bottom right of your screen! πŸ’¬
