Export your Extended Public Keys from your Exodus wallet to your Waltio account

Updated over a week ago

Hi there 👋

👉 To add a public address to your Waltio account, please follow the article related to the relevant blockchain on this page.

👉 To add the file containing all your transactions from Exodus, please follow this tutorial.

To add your master public keys via Exodus, please follow these steps:

Step 1: Login to your Exodus account

Step 2: Go to the “wallet” page, then click on the relevant blockchain corner, for example BTC for the Bitcoin blockchain.

💡 We currently support the major keys Bitcoin, Bitcoin cash, Litecoin and Doge, on Exodus.

Step 3:

a) Click on the three dots on the right side of your screen to open the menu

b) click on “Export XPub”.

This will create a folder called exodus-exports on your desktop, containing a .txt file. In this file you can find your XPub key (and ZPub if you are exporting Bitcoin). ZPub is another master key format, which is not yet supported by Waltio.

Step 4: Copy your XPub and paste it to Waltio:

- Go to “Blockchain”

- Click on “Bitcoin” and then on “API key or address”.

- Paste the XPub key

- Click on “Connect me”

👉 The addition process may take a few minutes. Once the XPub is added correctly, you will see all of your addresses individually on your account.
